In line with our mission statement, "To help people affected by carcinoid cancer through funding research for new treatments, providing financial support for patients and their families, and promoting awareness and education for carcinoid and other rare cancers," The Lois Merrill Foundation provides funding for the following grants:
Medical Assistance Grant
Provides patients with assistance in the payment of medical and other expenses. This grant is based on financial need.

Foundation Assistance Grant
Provides non-profit organizations with funds to
support research and education regarding carcinoid and other rare cancers in conjunction with the goals of The Lois Merrill Foundation.
